Mat Tinkler is Group CEO of Save the Children Australia and has driven child rights change for almost a decade. Mat has led Save the Children’s drive to be the leading voice for child rights in Australia. He has built a large and diverse portfolio of international programs, including with key multilateral donors like the Green Climate Fund, Education Cannot Wait and the Global Partnership for Education.

Florian is the CEO of Save the Children Germany, the German member of the world’s leading independent child rights agency. He previously worked for the Global Public Policy Institute on a research project related to the protection of civilians during armed conflicts. From 2014 until 2020, he served as the CEO of the German section of Doctors Without Borders (MSF). Before that he worked for 15 years with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Kenya and Malaysia as well as at global HQ in Geneva. Florian has a background in radio journalism and holds a Masters in International Policy from the University of Bristol and a BA in Economics and Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London.
Mr. Pim Kraan is the CEO of Save the Children Netherlands since Sept1st 2014 and is the CEO sponsor for the Global humanitarian work of the Save the Children. He is a member of the Save the Children International Management Committee and bears specific responsibilities for guiding the humanitarian team and Save the Children Europe. He is founding father of the Dutch Relief Alliance; a unique collaboration between 14 Dutch based International NGO’s, providing dignified aid to communities in 13 countries, funded by the MFA with around €500 mln over the past 6 years.
Mr. Kraan started in the humanitarian sector in the nineties as a member of the Docters Without Borders (MSF) Emergency Team. He coordinated missions in countries such as Rwanda, Bangladesh, Uganda, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Iraq, Angola, Mexico and Azerbaijan.
Alba graduated in Political Science and International Relations from the University of the Basque Country (Spain) and the Universidad degli Studi di Bologna (Italy) and a Masters in Analysis of the Global Agenda for Development Cooperation from the University of the Basque Country His professional career is focused on the promotion and defense of the rights of children and adolescents with a main focus on the prevention of violence against children, having worked in International Organizations such as UNICEF, the World Health Organization and the Office of the United Nations for Disaster Risk Reduction. Since 2015 she has served as Executive Director of Save the Children Dominican Republic.
Selina Sumbung is the CEO of Save the Children Indonesia and the Chairperson of Yayasan Save the Children, the national foundation of Save the Children in Indonesia. Her role oversees all programs, advocacy and campaigns, resource development and organization support services. The Yayasan has presence in 8 provinces, employs 300 staff and has reached over 1.200,000 children directly through programs in 2016-2020.

She was a seasoned strategy and business development professional who spent the previous 20 years of her career in management consulting, finance and private equity in Asia. Selina is a book-worm, a diving enthusiast and loves to travel the world and learn about new cultures and values debates, interactions and exchanges that enrich learning and growth.
Carol Szeto was appointed CEO of Save the Children Hong Kong in January 2020.
Carol has over twenty five years of experience in the private and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining Save the Children Hong Kong, she was a Senior Country Manager at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance – an international organisation that partners with the World Health Organisation, UNICEF, the World Bank and other development partners to improve access to new and underused vaccines for children in the world's poorest countries. In this role, Carol led the development of a US$500 million investment strategy for India and managed grant portfolios and private sector partnerships in South Asia. Prior to this role, Carol managed the global vaccine programmes for pneumonia and diarrhoea at Gavi.
Carol's previous experience also includes strategy and policy development at the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, marketing at Pfizer in the U.S. and the Latin America / Africa / Middle East region, and management consulting at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. She started her career as a Research Engineer at Merck & Company.

Diala Khamra, CEO of Save the Children Jordan - an organization dedicated to deliver high-quality and innovative child rights programs in education, child protection, livelihoods and health for vulnerable communities and impact the lives of half a million children and their families each year. Before joining Save the Children Jordan in 2019, Diala was the CEO of Haya Cultural Center. Ms. Khamra is passionate about development and humanitarian work and the roles art and culture play in bringing about meaningful social change and development. Previously, Diala co-founded the Justice Center for Legal Aid (JCLA) based in Amman concerned with providing the poor and the vulnerable with access to counsel and representation through legal aid clinics across the country. Diala has worked as a private consultant focusing on broad issues related to social development, rule of law and governance, and has worked with USAID, the World Bank, and the Basel Institute on Governance in Switzerland. She is also a John Smith Trust Fellow for rule of law and a Yale World Fellow.
Akiko is Executive Director cum Secretary General/CEO of Save the Children Japan since March 2023. Previously, she served as Deputy Secretary General of SC Japan, as well as Directors of Human Resources and Administration; Communications; and International Programs. Prior to joining Save the Children, Akiko worked with UNFPA for nearly ten years focusing on HIV prevention, and capacity development of CSO. Before joining the UN family, Akiko worked with an AIDS service organization in Tokyo.
Hanna Markkula-Kivisilta has been the CEO of Save the Children Finland since 2003. Prior to that she was a member of the Finnish Parliament for 12 years and holds a Master´s degree in political science from the University of Helsinki. Hanna Markkula-Kivisilta is an experienced advocate for children's rights and child poverty.
Adrian has many years of experience in the NGO sector and was most recently CEO of TearFund Switzerland. Prior to this engagement, he worked for ten years as project manager for various development projects in Guinea and then served for four years as Deputy Managing Director and Country Manager Cameroon & Chad of SAM global in Switzerland. Förster holds a Master’s degree in law and a Bachelor’s degree in theology and international studies. Adrian has been CEO of Save the Children Switzerland since September 2020

Sudarshan Suchi is a seasoned civil society leader with both local and global experience in academics, development and in corporate settings, and an authority in Participatory Practices to empower communities to lead transformation. He is an alumnus of St. Stephens College, Delhi University, and Institute of Development Studies (IDS), Sussex, UK. Prior to joining Save the Children, Sudarshan was the Secretary General at SOS Children’s Villages of India.
Janti became President & CEO of Save the Children US in January 2020, and was previously the President and COO of Save the Children US, where she was responsible for strategy, and making sure the organization was well managed. Before coming to the USA, Janti worked for 8 years as deputy CEO of Save the Children International. Before Save the Children, Janti spent three years with Kimberly-Clark, as Country Director in Indonesia. Janti graduated from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam in 1991.

Birgitte Lange is the CEO of Save the Children Norway. She has a background in political science and has held many senior management positions, e.g. as Deputy Director General of the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration and Director General in the Ministry of Culture. She has worked for several years on child welfare issues, both at ministerial level and in another NGO. Birgitte Lange is the author of several books and is a columnist on management issues in the Norwegian newspaper Dagens Næringsliv.

She has collaborated with renowned companies such as Il Sole 24 Ore and ASVI Social Change. She has acted as a consultant and trainer for national and international non-profit organizations.
She was the Social Marketing, Communication, Fundraising, Strategy and Planning expert between 1999 and 2003. In 2003 she was the National Director at CBM-Christian Blind Mission, to then become Director of Marketing and Fundraising at Greenpeace Italy.
Daniela began at Save the Children Onlus in 2004 initially as Marketing and Fundraising Director. In 2015, she took the position of Deputy CEO and in 2020 as CEO. As Deputy CEO first and then CEO, Daniela Fatarella is led both at a national and international level to give voice to and represent the largest independent international humanitarian organization, which since 1919 has been fighting to save children in danger, safeguard their rights and improve their living conditions, always and everywhere.
Maripina has a Bachelor in Sociology, graduated from the Ibero-American University, with training in senior management from IPADE, and over 30 years of experience in the Social area in government, educational, social and private organizations. She has extensive experience in procuring public and private funds, a national and international level and has been recognized among the 100 most powerful women in the country by Forbes magazine for two consecutive years.

An experienced leader with strong business, management and accounting skills gained through a career in both corporate and not-for-profit organisations, Heidi first joined Save the Children New Zealand in 2015 as Finance Director before being appointed Chief Executive in May 2017. Heidi's business interests include developing partnerships that will positively influence strategic direction and performance, enabling the achievement of organisational objectives.
Outside of work, Heidi enjoys getting out on her bike and into nature, alongside spending time with whānau, friends and her feisty fox terrier Willem.
Åsa Regnér has extensive experience and has held several different leading positions with a focus on various human and children’s rights issues, both in politics and in civil society, in Sweden and internationally. Until recently, she was Assistant Secretary-General of the UN and Deputy Executive Director of the UN agency UN Women, where she has worked since 2018. Between 2014 and 2018, she was Sweden's Minister for Children, the Elderly and Gender Equality, where she, among other things, actively participated in the work to make the Convention on the Rights of the Child into law in Sweden in 2020.
Gugu has over 30 years’ experience working with government, civil society as well as local and international development organisations. After spending the last two years as programme delivery lead at BroadReach, Gugu has returned to SCSA to oversee programme strategic direction, implementation, and impact measurement. She brings with her a wealth of experience in programme design and implementation as well as quality improvement. Gugu has extensive organisational strategy development, leadership, research, and business development experience and has previously led teams to deliver on projects valued at over R100 million.
Tue joined Save the Children in 2013 and has since then worked on a number of humanitarian responses - with a particular focus on the regional response to the Syria crisis, having lived and worked in Jordan, Iraq, Syria and Turkey on and off from 2014 to 2021.
Reporting to the CEO, Tue leads on management support, organizational governance, strategy and risk management for Save the Children Denmark, and supports the CEO on SCI/SCA coordination- and governance engagement.
Mariano is an Engineer with a Master's Degree in Integral Development, with more than 34 years of experience in the execution of programs and projects and has been CEO/Executive Director of Save the Children Honduras for more than 23 years. His experience, among others, includes 3 years of work with the National Agrarian Institute (INA) in a project for the Modernization of the Operational Structure supported by USAID; 7 years as University Professor; Coordinator for four consecutive years of Save the Children at the Latin American level.
Dumisani had been Executive Director for Save the Children Eswatini over the last 14 years. His tertiary education as well as professional experience has been spent in the health care and social development related environment and working in areas that are addressing mainly children issues and in particular the most at risk. He has a Masters in International Child Welfare Policy from the University of East Anglia (UK).
