Guillaume (Will) Rachou, Acting Executive Director Thailand National Office

Currently the Interim Executive Director for the Save the Children Thailand Foundation, Will (or Guillaume, in French), joined Save the Children International in the London centre over 10 years ago from BCG, one of SC's main corporate partners. Since 2019, he has been based in Asia in positions within regional and country leadership teams, mostly across Singapore, Myanmar, Thailand and Sri Lanka. Part of the SC Thailand's senior management team for over a year, he is currently providing the interim leadership on behalf of the board while a new permanent Executive Director is being recruited. He is also a member of the board of Save the Children Albania.

Paradai (Duke) Theerathada, Vice Chairman Thailand National Office

Duke was born in Washington DC. After receiving a BA, Political Science from the University of North Carolina, Duke moved to Bangkok in 1997 to work with Governor as an Adviser on Foreign Relations and Urban Economics setting up sister city programs with Paris and Sao Paulo. In 1999, Duke moved fully into the private sector on the pioneering launch team as head of corporate affairs for Orange Thailand; later re-branding into True Corporation. Duke helped GE Money Thailand to establish its retail bank branches in 2005 until GE decided to take a strategic stake in Bank of Ayuthya. In 2008, after ING took a majority stake in Thai Military Bank, Duke became its Executive Vice President for Communications and Branding. Duke returned to telecoms in 2016, as Chief of Corporate Affairs for DTAC.
Duke is now a branding strategist, along with being a personal executive coach for senior management.

Ahmet Kryeziu, Executive Director Kosovo National Office

Ahmet Kryeziu is an Executive Director of Save the Children in Kosova/o with 20 years of experience in leading humanitarian and development programs in addressing Children's Rights in Kosovo and the Europe region. His significant experience includes engagement in high level policy advocacy with government institutions, donors with an emphasis on strategic leadership, portfolio growth, quality program delivery, team performance and development to achieve critical changes and positive impact in children lives. Ahmet studied Civil Engineering at Prishtina University (Kosovo) and owns a Master’s degree.

Edis Galushi, Chair Kosovo National Office

Edis has been engaged in various local organizations. As a youth and an independent cultural activist, he has contributed to the inclusion of Roma children by organizing awareness-raising campaigns, youth trainings, several day exhibitions on Roma cultural heritage, youth visits to local government institutions, etc. Edis Galushi is the author of the first Roma children’s newspaper, children's songs in the Romani language, poetry and theatrical performances and of various articles about the social, economic and political life of the Roma community. From 2007-2014 he worked as a journalist at Radio Television of Kosovo. He received his BA diploma in English language and literature from the University of Pristina (Kosovo) and the University of Vilnius (Lithuania). He has recently gained his MA degree at the University of Zagreb. Currently, he works as a teacher and translator for Albanian, English and Serbian languages.

Anila Meco, Executive Director Albania National Office

Anila is children’s rights leader with more than 20 years of experience in Save the Children in Albania and national civil society networking. She held the role of the Country Director for about seven years and now is the Executive Director to the Albania National Office and has achieved to grow the national office and become the leading NGO addressing children’s issues in the country. She an MBA from University of Nebraska, USA and BA from Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana.

Daniele Timarco, Deputy Chair Albanian National Office

Daniele has over 25 years of professional experience in the NGO sector (international development and humanitarian aid), covering leadership roles at both headquarters and field level.

Daniele is currently Chief of Operations and Transformation at SC Italy. Between 2016 and 2019, Daniele was Humanitarian Director at SC International, overseeing the planning and delivery of SC’s global humanitarian endeavour. Before that, Daniele worked for different Italian NGOs, including 8 years as Director of International Programs & Advocacy at SC Italy.
Daniele has also served as chairperson of CINI (Italian Network of International NGOs) and as board member in various Italian civil society organisations. He co-founded and chaired a consortium to promote fair trade and intercultural awareness in Italy, and has lectured on development aid, humanitarianism, fair trade, child rights programming and project cycle management in schools and master courses.
Daniele presently serves as deputy Chairperson for the SC Albania National Office.
